M.Sc. ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY
Program Description

The M.Sc Echocardiography course offered by the AJIAHS is the post-graduation program for those who are interested to specialize in the area of echocardiography.

This program focuses on advanced aspects of heart scanning which includes evaluation of various cardiac conditions such as congenital, valvular, ischemic cardiac diseases and cardiomyopathies etc in adults, neonatal and pediatric population. And provides good knowledge in Fetal echocardiography/use of ultrasound in non-cardiac diagnosis.

The candidates are trained in such a manner that they are able to analyze a given cardiac condition and independently report the same.

The students are provided with maximum clinical exposure throughout the course tenure.

As a part of master’s program research work and dissertation submission is very important aspect of the curriculum.

The candidates will also be significantly exposed to rural health camps, postings in other hospitals, radiology department as well as in surgery OTs which will add value to their qualification.

The candidates are also encouraged to participate in the various conferences held across different institutions and showcase posters, case reports etc.
