The Perfusionist utilizes technology such as heart/lung machines, ventricular assist devices and artificial hearts, as well as pharmacological interventions to maintain the patient during the period of circulatory support.

Perfusionist is a healthcare professional who controls the cardiopulmonary bypass machine during cardiac surgery and various kinds of other surgeries that requires Perfusionist to have control of the patient's physiology status.

The candidates are trained in both theoretical and practical aspect of Perfusion to maintain an extra – corporeal circulation during open heart surgeries.

This is also improved by hands on training in well advanced simulation center of our institute during their academic period.

Graduates are eligible for employment overseas where their qualifications, training and experience are highly regarded.

With further experience, graduates may be employed by medical equipment manufacturers and development specialists.

The candidate seeking admission in our college shall have studied English as one of the principle subject during the tenure of the course and must have passed Two Year Pre- University or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects.
