Dermatology department was started at A.J.Institute of Medical Sciences since the inception of the college.Postgraduate training (MD degree) was started in 2008 which is recognized by Medical Council of India.This department is well equipped and provide specialty care services pertaining to skin, venereal diseases, leprosy and cosmetology to the population of coastal area in and around Mangalore.The department is well provided with state of art facilities and well qualified experienced dermatologist to impart high standard training to post graduate students.
